PRICE OF SILVER
Increase In London (7.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 24. The price of silver on the London bullion market has been raised 251(1 to 44d an ounce. The City editor of “The Times” says the increase was not unexpected. It followed on the extension of the United States buying price of 71.111 cents an ounce to foreign as well as domestically mined silver.
