It. is intended for tran Montin-nl ;U work (-arrving 21 pa-.congers 11100 miles in the <l<- luxe version and 37 passengers 1500 miles in the standard version It has a top cruising speed of 252 miles an hour.
The "Daily Telegraph's” aviation writer states that the Viking should compete successfully against the popular American models. The British Overseas Airways Corporation has placed orders with Vickers, and the peak output of 30 a month will be reached before the end of 1946.
