AITKEN CUP DAY
Basketball Tournament At Girls’ High School
At the Girls’ High School on Saturday the inter-form backetball tournament for the Aitken Cup was held. Aitken Cup Day is one of the highlights of the school year, and although a fog made conditions unpleasant for spectators it certainly had no chilling effect on the enthusiasm of the gnjs. All games were keen, and were vigorously cheered from the sidelines. The finals between forms VI and VP2 a very spirit® match, were of a hieli standard, ending in a win for VP2 by one goal. Form V.P2's B team was successful in winning the B grade section, with V.P, B team runner up.
