DISCONTINUANCE OF PERMITS Seat Reservations Will Regulate Passenger Traffic Permits for railway travel will be discontinued on and after WEDNESDAY, September 6. To the extent of the accommodation available, passengers may reserve scats up to seven days ahead of travel date. An extra day to cover the transmission of applications for reservations will be allowed non-residents of towns from which the relative trains commence their journey. Coal shortage still prevents any increase in the present restricted train services and passengers are urged to u th? secondary trains wherever possible, leaving the main expresses for long distance and urgent travel.
