Big Increases In U.S.
WASHINGTON, Sept. 6.
A record income tax bill, which the Treasury estimates to bring in 3.584,000,000 dollars, was passed by the Senate and returned to the House for the consideration of amendments. The new rate triples the taxes on the middle incomes and substantially increases all others.
