CYCLIST KILLED
Collision With Car (P.A.) GISBORNE. Sept. 8. A collision in Wainui Road during the lunch hour resulted in the death of George A. Holmes, a tailor, aged 71. a well-kncwn Gisborne business m" 1 . Holmes was cycling when overtaken by a motor car driven by G. W. Alexander. a"” was carried on to the footpath and killed instantly. Alexander suff“ ”d slight injuries.
