Theodore and M. Tagophile, visited Geraldine yesterday in company with Mrs P. J. Twomey (wife of the secretary of the Leper Trust Board) and Miss M. Purse (secretary of the Catholic Women’s League). There was a good attendance in the Catholic Presbytery including representatives of the Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union.
A welcome was extended by the Rev. Father M. J. Fogarty. Interesting lantern slides depicting the valuable work being carried out in the Leper Islands were shown.
