New Comedy Team In “This Thing Called Love”
In keeping with their many previous delightful comedy hits Columbia now present "This Thing Called Love.” Melvyn Douglas and Rosalind Russell are co-starred for the first time and just what mad escapades they get up to has to be seen to be appreciated. Alexander Hall, the man whose deft sure treatment made “He Stayed For Breakfast” and “The Doctor Takes a Wife” the screen successes they were, guided Melvyn Douglas and Miss Russell through this new screen play which is better than anything they have before given the screen.
“This Thing Called Love” joyfully moves from one funny situation to another, accompanied by a wealth of delightful dialogue. Nor are the stars on their own, for they are aided and abetted by such outstanding comedy players as Binnie Barnes, Allyn Joslyn and Gloria Dickson.
