TABLE TENNIS

POLICE PLAY ENGLAND McRAE’S The annual table tennis match between the Police Club and England Mcßae’s Club was played on Thursday night and resulted in a draw after keenly fought games, of which each team won 18. It was a most enjoyable evening, marred only by an unfortunate incident in which R. Thomson of England Mcßae’s, mistiming a shot, fell and suffered an injured eye. The Police team, although lacking experience in competitive play this season, gave a fine exhibition to hold to a draw their more experienced opponents.
