Lord Beaverbrook’s Mission (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 15. The ’plane in which Lord Beaverbrook crossed the Atlantic intended to accompany the trans-ocean machine which crashed into a hillside on Sunday. Lord Beaverbrook arrived in Washington by ’plane yesterday. A Washington message states that Lord Beaverbrook told the press he had come to the United States to secure tanks, aeroplanes and food in quantities as large as the United States could supply.
