U.S. Fighters Arrive
(Rec. 7.30 pin ) LONDON, Aug. 14. American Tomohawk fighters are pouring into China to strengthen General Chiang Kai-Shek’s air force says “The Express” at Singapore. Big cargoes of ’planes are daily arriving at Burma, where they are assembled and flown to Chungking. There ’planes give the Chinese for the first time some appreciable measure of air power. _
