Serbian villages northward of Belgrade were sacked and set on fire and the entire populations killed. Members of the Hungarian Minority also Hungarian troops participated. The Yugoslav guards whom the Germans placed in Serbia have been disarmed because the Germans suspect them of assisting the Serbs.

A London message says that M. Bazilek, general manager of Berg and Hutten steelworks in Czechoslovakia, one of the largest now working for Germany, committed suicide, reports “The Daily Express” correspondent.
