IN OTHER CENTRES Geraldine: A bitterly cold southerly wind prevailed yesterday with intermittent showers of rain and sleet. The rainfall for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. was 126 points. Temuka: Intermittent rain with a light fall of snow was experienced yesterday. The maximum temperature was 41 degrees and the minimum 37.
