HOLLAND FULL OF HATE

Will Rise At Opportune Time <6.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON. June 18. Prince Bernhard, of the Netherlands; on leaving the White House for Canada, told the press that the people of conquered Holland were very full of hate against the German invaders. Prince Bernhard expressed the opinion that the conquered people of Europe will rise against the oppressors but hoped that they would not revolt too early or they would be massacred. “We are using every effort to induce them to bide their time for the right moment.” Prince Bernhard declared that the chances of a successful Nazi invasion of England were nil. Asked whether he was confident of eventual British victory, Princess Juliana interjected a quick and emphatic, “Oh, yes,” before Prince Bernhard could reply.
