BOMBING OF DUBLIN

German Admission (Rec. 12.7 pm.) DUBLIN, June 19. The Germans admit the bombing on May 31. The Government Information Bureau stated that Germany claimed that the strong prevailing winds may have driven a ’plane over the east coast of Ireland without the knowledge of the pilot. The possibility of such a ’plane dropping bombs could not be excluded in the circumstances. Germany expresses regret and is prepared to compensate for the loss of life and injury to personal property.
