Silo wheat is quoted at 3/lli and bagged at 4/3S a bushel; flour £l2/13/a ton; bran and pollard £6, Tasmanian potatoes £5/10/-, others £4/10/-, brown onions £l2/10/-, all a ton; white maize 3/10 and yellow 3/7 a bushel. GEAR MEAT COMPANY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 19. The Gear Meat Company has declared an interim dividend of 3d a share, payable on June 25. MINING NEWS The Grey River return for the week is 201SOZ of gold for 134 hours’ dredging. STUDHOLME SALE Entries for the fortnightly stock sale held at Studholme were small, although there was a good demand for store sheep. A line of halfbred two, four and six-tooth ewes realised 15/3. Romney ewe hoggets made to 18/6, wether hoggets to 14/-, and six and eight-tooth wethers from 12/9 to 15/-. Fat ewes sold at 13/- to 19/10, and fat wethers at 19/4. PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE Estates of a value of £536,552 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during May, 1941. The total value of the estates and funds under administration by the

Public Trustee on March 31, 1941, was £64,436,092, and the new business for the two months ended May 31, was £938,677. Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 189 for the month. During the month 1022 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 403 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 106,285.
