TRADE AGREEMENT
Proposed Extension (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 18. Referring to the cable message published this morning concerning the possibility of extending the existing trade agreement between Canada and New Zealand for the duration of the war, the Hon. W. Nash said the New Zealand Government was prepared to consider the proposal. “The agreement expires in September in the normal way. It is likely that we would extend it, and if there is a suggestion that it be carried on until the end of the war we shall be glad to consider it at once.”
