DIVORCE SUIT
DAMAGES AWARDED (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 21 Two full days were required In the hearing of evidence in trie case in which Thomas Joseph Driscoll petitioned for divorce against Mabel Daphne Driscoll on the grounds of adultery. This morning his Honour Mr Justice Northcroft summed up, and the jury returned in half an hour with a verdict in favour of the petitioner. They found that adultery had been proved and awarded the petitioner £5O damages against the co-respondent, Keith Foster, a shearer, of Waiau. Driscoll, a musterer, of Clarence Reserve, Kaikoura, claimed £250 damages.
