PEOPLE’S MOVEMENT

Deputation- To Political Heads (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 20. On the ground that it was a political question to which the Chamber as a non-political body could net give consideration, the Wellington Chamber of Commerce to-night decided to take no action concerning an intimation that the People’s Movement intended to form a deputation to wait on the Hon. W. Nash and Mr S. G. Holland, to urge the formation of a National Government, the postponement of .he elections and the cessation of party strife. A letter from the Dominion chairman of the movement, Mr Crisp (Auckland) invited the Wellington Chamber to be represented on the deputation. __________
