CHEESE CONTRACT
STRAIN ON INDUSTRY (P.A.) DUNEDIN, May 9. Commenting on the cheese contract announcement, Mr Wright, secretary of the South Island Dairy Association, said that while he was sure that the industry would use every endeavour, he doubted that it was possible to expand to 160,000 tons without long preparation. Additional equipment and labour were the chief difficulties. Many factories could work two shifts provided the key men were available, but many were now. serving with the armed forces. -■
