Five eggs well X beaten, one grated nutmeg. Mix T X all the fruit together with the .;. spice, ginger and nutmeg. Pour the boiling water and soda over ❖ X treacle, cream, butter and sugar, X X add to them eggs, flour and X treacle, a little of each at a time. .;. X Beat for 10 minutes then stir in >:« X fruit and bake about three X X hours.
