Seas (New Zealand waters)—Moderate inshore on the east coast north of Otago Peninsula, otherwise rough. Eastern Tasman Sea —Strong southwesterly winds and rough seas. Weather—Further rain in Westland, Southland and on the Otago Coast, scattered showers still likely in and west of the North Island ranges, elsewhere fair to fine; temperatures cool in the south and moderate elsewhere. The glass was falling last evening. Dunedin: Dull weather yesterday morning was followed by heavy rain in the afternoon. The barometer was steady at 29.9 inches (1012 millibars).
