MEAT BOARD FUNDS
GIFT TO GOVERNMENT SUGGESTED By Telegraph —Press Association OAMARU. August 16. At a meeting of the Waitaki Freezing Company it was reported that the New Zealand Meat Board had accumulated funds to the extent of £65,000, and it was suggested that the Farmers’ Union ask the Meat Board to donate £30.000 of these funds as a token of producers’ appreciation of the Air Force to replace the planes lost. The resolution passed by the Farmers’ Union to-day.
