COAL DRIVE
Britain Wants Larger Output United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph -Copyright LONDON. April 6. The British Mines Department announced a new drive for an increased export of coal, an intensification of output from the mines and stricter
regulation of home consumption, for which purpose a council had been established under Lord Portal. The council, which includes equal representation of owners and miners, will pay particular attention to neutral markets hitherto supplied by Germany.
