STRATHEONA

BOARD OF DIRECTORS At a meeting of the Board of Directors of Stratheona, held in the Y.W.C.A. rooms, Timaru, there were present Mesdames A. H. Gillingham (in the chair), E. S. Andrews, C. C. Douglas, M. Guild, T. W. Satterthwaite, S. Unwin and Mrs J. A. McLeod (hon. sec.). The matron’s report stated that some of the trainees were having final leave before going to their first positions. Another enrolment w.s considered and a ninth trainee accepted. Mrs Harper, previously matron of Stratheona. was present by request, and received a token of appreciation from the board of managers. Final arrangements were made for the annual garden party to be held at Stratheona on April 13.
