ASSAULT SUSPECTED • By Telegraph—Press Association HAMILTON, November 21. A single man, Charles Kitchener Blackmore, aged 22, proprietor of an all night cafe at Huntly, w’as discovered by a female employee lying unconscious among broken bottles behind the counter this morning. He was taken to hospital suffering from head injuries. His condition is serious but he recovered consciousness this afternoon. The police suspect assault. A detachment of detec ives from Auckland are on the scene.
