DARING YOUNG NEW ZEALANDER
French Call Him “The Flying Fool” United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, November 19. Fragments of the Dornier which the New Zealand airman, Acting Squadron Leader Edgar Kain, shot down are being distributed as souvenirs. French troops conferred Colonel Lindbergh’s nickname, “The Flying Fool,” on Kain, whose control of the machine is so perfect that he can “sweep off his comrades’ caps.” The French mess entertained him at the front line at a dinner attended by the tennis player Jean Borotra.
