Dennis O’Keefe again proves his ability to handle light comedy in the role of the ambulance-chasing lawyer whose fastmoving activities haunt the sleep of big corporation lawyers. Mark the name of Ann Morriss down in your list of coming players. This is her first picture, but she handles herself with the ease and assurance of a veteran. The supporting cast is well chosen, with Lewis Stone playing the erstwhile brilliant physician, reduced to semicriminal activities through drink. The story recounts the adventures of a lawyer who throws in with the poor against the Street Railway Company of a big city. His never-ceasing vigilance brings him money as well as amusement. Finally, his habit of soaking the corporation in accident trials results in counter-attacks on their part. They hire Ann Morriss to obtain evidence against the lawyer. She does, but also falls in love with him. The surprise ending is in keeping with the hilarity of the entire picture.
