RED CROSS SOCIETY
TIMARU CENTRE A meeting of the committee of the Red Cross Society, Timaru Centre, was held in the Automobile Association’s rooms last night. Present:— Mesdames E. A. Scott (chairwoman), W. W. Garton, E. G. Kerr, G. W. Meade, J. H. Sinclair-Thomson, W. G. Tweedy, Misses Ritchie, Shanks, Sunaway, Stubbs, O’Callaghan, Ziesler, the Rev. F. H. Wilkinson, Messrs Rhodes and Ritchie. The chairwoman reported that she had interviewed several nurses who had expressed their willingness to give instructions in home nursing. Arranganents were made for forming classes in home nursing in country districts.
