SEVERE BURNS
EXPLOSION OF GAS IN MINE By Telegraph—Press Association GREYMOUTH, May 31. Frederick Fauth, aged 52, manager of the Bellbird Co-operative Colliery, suffered severe burns on the arms, face, chest and neck through the ignition of gas at. a coal face this morning. His condition is satisfactory. The mine had been considered non-gaseous.
