WOODBURY
COUNTRY FAIR COMMITTEE The final meeting of the Country Fair Committee was held on Tuesday evening when Mr A. Kennedy presided over a fair attendance. The report and balance-sheet which were adopted, showed a very satisfactory balance; in fact almost a record. The chairman, in reviewing thyear’s work, moved a vote of thanas to the judges, committee, donors of trophies, produce, etc., and to all who had assisted in any way to make the Country Fair such a success.
A sub-committee to collect new ideas for future fairs was formed, the following being appointed, Messrs A. Mc - Kenzie (convener), Stonyer, Cain, F. Pratt jr„ E. McEvey and Mesdames Chisnail and Kennedy.
After placing a further sum to re • serve and making a donation to the Woodbury Basketball Club, the remainder of the proceeds ct the Fair was divided equally between the Tripp Carnival Committee. Woodbury School Committee, Tripp Memorial Library, Woodbury Women’s institute and Woodbury Cricket Club.
