SUMMER RESIDENCE OF THE KING. — In a quiet wood a short distance from the town of Aarhus is the summer residence of the King of Denmark, the Marselisborg Slot. This palace was presented by the people of Jutland to His Majesty on the occasion of his marriage in, 1898. The illustration shows the main entrance to the Palace with a sentry on guard. The town of Aarhus is the capital of the Island of Jutland, is the second largest city in Denmark, and is of more ancient standing than Copenhagen.
