DESIGNED BY ROYALTY. — The Kalvebodstrand, a branch of the sound separates the island of Amager from the main part of Copenhagen and forms a spacious and sheltered harbour. On one of the, quays stands the handsome Stock Exchange, which was designed and built by the Royal Architect, King Christian IV. in the Dutch Renaissance style between 1619 and 1640. The building has a striking tower which takes the form of the twisted tails of jour dragons.
