TRIBUTES BY BENCH AND BAR By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, February 23 Before the hearing of the cases commenced at the Magistrate’s Court, tributes were paid by the Bench and legal profession to the character and ability of the late Mr E. D. Mosley, formerly Senior Magistrate at Wellington. Mr J. L. Stout, Senior Magistrate, was accompanied to the Bench by Mr J. H. Luxford, Mr W. F. Stilwell and Mr A. M. Goulding, and members of the legal profession filled the body of the Court, with Mr P. B. Cooke, president of the Law Society, acting as spokesman. The gathering also included the Under-Secretary for Justice, Brigadier Green, of the Salvation Army, the Police sub-inspector, the detectivesergeant and probation officer. Sympathy was extended to the relatives and the Court adjourned for a period.
