POLLING IN IMPORTANT BY-ELECTION OnlleO Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Cony right (Received November 9, 6.30 p.m.) EDMONTON, November 8. The Aberhardt Social Credit Government retained a seat at a byelection at Athabasca, necessitated by the death of Mr Charles Ross, by the election of C. H. Tade, over the Liberal candidate, with a majority of 200 votes.
