LONDON MARKETS LATEST REPORT The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner, London, dated November 4, 1938. Tallow: Spot market quiet for shipments, market inclined easier; present spot quotations are unchanged. Hemp: Manila: Market quiet but steady; sellers reserved. Closing value “K” grade £19 5s. Sisal: Market firm but quiet. November-January shipment sold up to £17 2s 6d. New Zealand: Not offered. Eggs: Market firm early this week, quieter at the close. Engish National mark: Mediums, standards and specials, 19/-, 26/-; English ordinary pack, 15-15Jlbs, 22/6, 23/6; Danish 14181bs, 14/6, 18/-; Australian, 13J-171bs, 12/-. 14/-. New Zealand: Market slow. "Rangltane" about one half sold 14161bs, realised 12/6, 13/6.
