ASSEMBLY CONCLUDES
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH By Telegraph—Press AssoclaNoo DUNEDIN, November 9. The Presbyterian General Assembly concluded its sittings late to-night. It was agreed that the next Assembly should meet In Christchurch on November 14, 1939, to transact routine business, and that it should then adjourn to meet again in Wellington on February 20, 1940, for the special Centennial celebrations and special business. The Finance Committee’s estimates for the ensuing year, totalling £45,706, compared with £44,900 last year, were approved.
