INQUEST OPENED
BOARDINGHOUSE FIRE By Telegraph Press Association AUCKLAND, November 9. The inquest was opened by the Coroner, Mr F. K. Hunt, at the morgue this morning into the deaths of John Jennings Hiley (72), single, pensioner, and Jack McDonald (about 50), who died from burns and shock as a result of the Grey’s Avenue fire on Monday night. After evidence of identification the inquest was adjourned.
