At the wool sales satisfactory clearances were effected under brisk competition from the Continent, Yorkshire and Japan. All good wools were taken in the sellers favour. Greasy Merino made to 20sd per lb. A total of 13,142 bales were offered, 12,540 were sold as well as 885 privately.
