MARKET VERY FIRM □nlted Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph —Copyrlgh t (Received November 1, 10.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 1. At the wool sales, 12,043 bales were offered, 11,020 being sold; also 1342 privately. Bidding was well sustained with more activity from the Japanese. The market was very firm at late rates and good clearances were effected. Greasy merino made to 2Hd per lb, which is the best price this season.
