The afternoon train for Timaru leaves Ashburton 5.25 p.m., Orarl 6.51, Temuka 7.13, arriving Timaru 7.48 p.m. CHRISTCHURCH SHOW AND RACES, NOVEMBER 5 to 12 SPECIAL EXCURSION TICKETS to CHRISTCHURCH will be issued by all trains from Dunedin - Port Chalmers - Kurow - Fairlie - Ashburton and intermediate stations on direct line of route and by bus from Waimate from FRIDAY. NOVEMBER 4, to FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11, inclusive, available for return until MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14. NOTE: On 9th the usual mid-week and on sth and 12th the usual weekend tickets' will be issued to Christchurch from Timaru and intermediate stations. SPECIAL CHEAP DAY EXCURSION TICKETS TO CHRISTCHURCH will be issued by the Special trains leaving Timaru for Christchurch at 7.35 a.m. on TUESDAY, Bth, and FRIDAY, November 11, from ASHBUR-TON-TIMARU and intermediate stations on direct line of route, available for return on day of issue only. For particulars of the issue of Excursion tickets to Christchurch via Racecourse (including 9d admission to Racecourse) enquire at stations. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS, NOVEMBER 5 to 12. On sth, Bth, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th November passenger train for Christchurch leaves Timaru 7.35 a.m., Temuka 8.7, Orari 8.24, arriving Christchurch 11.15 a.m. Return train leaves Christchurch 6.30 p.m., Ashburton 8.15, arriving Timaru 9.56 p.m. These trains will observe the same stops as the Timaru-Christchurch Wednesday trains, and on sth, 9th and 12th November will also stop at Sockburn, and on 10th and 11th November at Addington Show Grounds. On sth, 9th and 12th November cars containing Racecourse passengers will be run direct to Racecourse. On sth. Bth, 9th, 10th, 11th and I—h November the usual 7.13 a.m. Ashburton-Timaru train will leave Ashburton at 7.35 a.m. and arrive Timaru 9.59 a.m. On sth, Bth, 10th, 11th and 12th November the usual 7.35 a.m. TimaruAshburton and 4.31 p.m. AshburtonTimaru trains will NOT run. On 9th November the usual 7.0 a.m. Timaru - Christchurch (Wednesday) train leaves Timaru at 7.35 a.m. and the usual 5.42 p.m. Christchurch-Tl-maru (Wednesday) train leaves Christchurch at 6.30 p.m. ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, special Night Express train leaves Christchurch 11.2 p.m., Timaru 2.2 a.m. (13th), Oamaru '3.40, arrives Dunedin 6.53 a.m.
