As compared with closing rates of last series greasy merino, unchanged. Scoured merino, 3d to Id lower.’ Greasy 1-bred, id to 3d lower. Scoured halfbred, super, unchanged. Scoured halfbred, average and inferior, irregular id to Id lower. Greasy crossbred, fine, id lower; medium Jd to id lower; coarse, par to id lower. Scoured crossbred, id to Id lower. Sllpes, halfbred, id to Id lower. Slipes, crossbred, fine, id to Id lower; medium and coarse, par to id lower. Greasy crossbred, lambs, Id lower. Following is a range of prices realised at our last wool sale:—Merino, good to super, 1/li to 1/43; low to medium, lOd to 1/01. Halfbred 56/58, good to super, 1/01 to 1/2; low to medium, lOd to 1/-; 50/56, good to super 113 d to 1/01. Fine crossbred, 48/50, good to super, lid to 1/-; low to medium, 9id to lOid; 46/48, good to super, 103 d to 113 d; low to medium, 9-ld to 10',d. Crossbred, 44/46, good to super. lOid to Hid; low to medium 9d to lOd; 40/44, good to super, lOid to Hid; low to medium, 9d to Od. Coarse crossbred, 36/40, good to super, lOid to Hid; medium to good, 9d to 104.
RABBITSKIN SALE By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, March 31. There was an increased offering forward for to-day’s rabbitskin auction, comprising principally summer’s racks ar 4 runners with fair quantities of early and downy autumns. Competition was fair, values being firm on the previous quotation. Following is the range of prices— Smalls 5d to 6 ’ per lb, runners 93d to IHd. light racks 16d to 161 d, prime racks 16d to 16id, summers Hd to IHd, downy autumns 17d to 18d, early autumns 18d to 19d, milky 103 d to Hd. fawns 6d, summer blacks 6d, autumn blacks Bd, hareskins 63d to 73d.
