FORCEFUL SUPPORT FROM JAPAN United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph— Copyright (Received March 10, 10.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 10. Under good general competition and with forceful support from Japan on suitable types, the market at the wool sale to-day fully maintained the salient features of yesterday’s auction. Greasy merino fleece sold to 20d per lb. The offering consisted of 9049 bales, of which 8242 were sold at auction, while 604 bales were sold privately.
