INCREASED VALUE OF BRITISH SALES British Official wireless (Received March 10, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, March 9. The review of trade for the year ended January 31, in the Board of Trade Journal, states that the total value of sales reported to the Bank, of England by retailers collaborating in the production of retail trade statistics, was £325,000,000, compared with £300,000,000 the previous year. The bulk of the increase is estimated to have resulted from higher prices.
