ELECTION CANDIDATES By TelegißDh —Press Association PALMERSTON N., March 10 As a result of a ballot held by members of the National Party in the Palmerston North electorate, Mr J. A. Nash secured a clear majority over the other two nominees, Messrs A. E. Mansford and M. H. Oram and subject to the approval of Dominion headquarters, will be the official candidate to represent the National Party at the next election. At a largely-attended meeting of delegates from the various branches of the New Zealand National Party in the Tauranga electorate, Mr F. W. Doidge was selected as the party’s candidate for the Tauranga seat.
