AGRICULTURAL CLUBS SUCCESSFUL SHOW This week, pupils of the Pleasant Point District High School, held their first show in connection with the agricultural clubs. The various clubs were formed during the year, and that their influence has been helpful was reflected in the knowledge of the exhibitors and the quality of their produce. Entries in the open classes were good. As a result of the success achieved, it is hoped to make the show an annual fixture. A number of parents and friends inspected the exhibition. GENERAL NEWS Drama classes run by the Association for Country Education have commenced in Pleasant Point under the leadership of Mr C. A. Worthington, and will continue until the end of April, when it is hoped to stage the plays. The newly-formed bowling and croquet greens have now been sown in grass, and with favourable weather conditions, a good strike is expected.
