HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, March 9. When the House met at 2.30 p.m.. Mr A. C- Sexton gave notice to ask the Prime Minister whether, under the Government’s superannuation scheme, it was intended to provide for the universal endowment of motherhood. The notice of motion introduced on Tuesday by the Prime Minister making provision for a select committee to hear evidence on the Government’s superannuation scheme was passed without dissent. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL By Telegraph—Pi ess Association WELLINGTON, March 9. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Pensions Amendment Bill was read a first time, and the Greymouth Harbour Board Reconstitution Bill a second time. The Council adjourned at 3 p.m.
