WEDDINGS

CRAMPTON—WOOD Yesterday afternoon a quiet wedding took place at St Saviours Chapel when Lorna, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Razell Wood, Morgan's Road, was married by the Rev. NeLson Wright to William Stuart, son of the late Mr W. Crampton and of Mrs Crampton, Otane, Hawke’s Bay. Mr R. Harris presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the Chapel with her father, wore a simply cut frock of magnolia tinted satin, moulded to the figure. The plain-fitting sleeves were buttoned at the wrists with tiny satin buttons which matched those fastening the back of the frock. Her

veil of cut tulle was held in place with i sprays of orange blossom and her | sheaf was composed of lilium philipenses. Miss Joan Wood, the bride’s sister, * was the only bridesmaid. Her frock of I rust coloured velvet was worn with a sash of apricot crep n de chene and the flowers in her hair and her bouquet wer** in deep autumnal shades. A little flower girl, Elizabeth Hosking, niece of the bride, wore a Victorian frock of apricot crepe de chene with a sash of rust coloured velvet. She wore autumn tinted flowers : n her hair and carried a posy to match. Mr T. Blythe. Dannevirke, was best man. A reception was later held at The Rectory, where the guests were receiv- : ed by Mr Razell Wood assisted by Mrs Crampton, who wore a back and white frock, a black redingote and black hat. j For travelling the bride wore a brown : honeycomb suit, brown hat and fur I necklet. Mr and Mrs W. S. Williams will make their home at Otane, Hawke’s Bay.

She carried a bouquet of red dahlias an. maidenhair fern. Mrs Goodall (stepmother of the bridegroom) were a frock of pale blue cloque with navy accessories and carried a bouquet of pink gladioli and maidenhair fern. Mr and Mrs Goodall later left by car for a tour of the Southern Lakes. Mrs Goodall travelling in a smart naw tailored costume, fur stole and acces- : sories to tone.
