INFANTILE PARALYSIS
GIRL SUCCUMBS □y Telegraph—Press Association HAM7TTON, May 5. A second death from paralysis occurred in the Waikato hospital today, when a girl of 16 years, who was admitted yesterday from Taukau in a serious condition, succumbed. Six cases have been discharged after being cured, but 30 still remain in hospital. All are reported to be making satisfactory progress. ANOTHER WELLINGTON CASE By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, May 5. A further positive case of infantile paralysis is reported—a girl from Newtown, aged 16. DEATH AT CHRISTCHURCH By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, May 5. A boy aged 8, died in the Christchurch hospital to-day, as a result of infantile paralysis. Two additional cases are reported to-day—a boy ot ten from Timaru, and a girl of four from Sydenham.
