DAMAGES SOUGHT
SERIOUS INJURIES SUFFERED IN COLLISION By Telegraph-Pies? Asocial ten WELLINGTON, May 5 A claim for £l5OO general and £222 special damages for injuries received in a motor accident at Kelburn in November, 1936. began in the Supreme Court to-day. The plaintiff is John Corcoran, ironmoulder, of Wellington, and the defendant George Hindle, of Petone. The collision occurred between a motor-cycle ridden by Corcoran, and the defendant’s car, Corcoran receiving a fractured skull, concussion, a fractured right wrist and other inuries, allegedly leaving him permanently partially disabled. The plaintiff's allegations of negligent driving were denied by the defence
